Did you know that 23% of total Internet usage time is devoted to social networks or blogs?
Users spend a large chunk of their time online looking for new and intriguing information, which makes most businesses think that posting as often as possible is the way to go. While posting blogs often gives your audience that new content that they want, here are several things to consider:
- Never Sacrifice Quality – If you attempt to go beyond your blogging capabilities in order to post more often, the likely result is that the quality of your blog articles will take a dive. Quality content is what keeps users coming back, not how often you post.
- Stay Consistent – Posting on a consistent basis has the potential to turn your audience into subscribers, or people who check back on your blog for your newest article of interesting information or news. Your audience will learn to expect new content from you at a specific time.
- Don’t Drown Yourself Out – How often you post should align with how often your audience tunes into what you’re posting. If you post an interesting article on your blog, but you post blogs twice a day for a few days, that article will be pushed down the list of your blogs and have less visibility.
- Share On Social Media – Posting a blog won’t mean much if your audience can’t see it. Share your blog on your social media channels, so no matter where your audience is online, they can easily find it.
