Hosted Services (Application Service Provider)
LabCalls ASP allows you to utilize the features and functionality of LabCalls without purchasing/upgrading software and hardware. The hosted LabCalls service is a web-enabled system that allows you to access and use LabCalls via the Internet. Through the LabCalls web portal, you can record and assign messages; provide online access to patients' test results; view, print, e-mail or auto-fax daily reports.
Message Assignment and Storage
Doctors, nurses and staff members can assign messages for patients to retrieve from a Internet connection or a touch-tone phone. Secure PINs ensure that only authorized personnel assign messages. For security and medical record-keeping purposes, LabCalls permanently stores and catalogues messages, allowing doctors to review old messages and examine system activity.
SmartTextâ„¢
The SmartText feature of LabCalls delivers test result notification text messages to cell phones, allowing organizations to inform their patients that lab results are ready for pickup. SmartText is approved by the Mobile Messaging Association and provides:

- Mobile number verification
- Data merge
- Receipt and detailed reporting
- Number portability
- Two-way communication
Flexible PINs
LabCalls assigns a unique PIN to each patient based on any data from your healthcare information system such as: social security numbers, phone digits, chart numbers, etc. Additionally, LabCalls uses security PINs for doctors and staff, allowing variable access to the system. You can specify which staff members assign messages, record prompts, etc. LabCalls is a HIPPA compliant technology.
Touch-Tone Response Options
Patients can leave private voice messages for doctors or staff after they listen to their lab results, ensuring crucial two-way communication. Doctors and staff members can listen to voice messages via phone or PC.
