TeleVox ensures the security of personal information residing on and being transmitted by TeleVox technologies. All information is protected in five ways: password protection, encryption, firewall technology, redundancy and facility security.
- Password Protection: In addition to user name and password access requirements, TeleVox utilizes 128-bit SSL encryption, providing both message privacy and integrity.
- Firewall Technology: TeleVox system architecture employs fail-over firewalls to prevent unauthorized system access. No access to the TeleVox data center is permitted without going through the firewalls.
- Redundancy: System integrity and stability is ensured through multiple fail-over servers, which create redundant storage and operational functionality.
- Facility Security: TeleVox's facilities are accessible only through secure electronic access. Access to health information files is provided on a need-to-know/need-access basis.
