Southwest Gas Corporation Uses TeleVox’s Automated Messaging

Mobile, AL, December 30, 2005 - TeleVox Software, Inc., a leading developer of telephony-based communications, has been chosen as the customer relationship messaging provider for Southwest Gas. The company is one of the nation’s fastest-growing natural gas distribution companies, and will use HouseCalls, TeleVox’s automated outbound messaging system, to communicate with delinquent customers throughout Arizona, Nevada and California.

Southwest Gas will use HouseCalls for a series of two-part collections campaigns. Delinquent accounts will receive a mailed disconnect notice informing them of past due amounts. If the overdue account is not resolved, a HouseCalls reminder call may be delivered before further action is taken.

Through its exclusive message-building technology and recorded human voices, HouseCalls delivers personalized messages to each of the utility’s customers. Messages have multilingual capabilities and specify names, dates and amounts due. TeleVox’s data centers cover both coasts, meeting the expanding needs of utilities such as Southwest Gas.
