TeleVox Clients Among Nation’s Top Health Plans

Mobile, Ala. ?•„ November 1, 2005 ?•„ Health plan customers of TeleVox Software, a leading provider of communication solutions for the managed care industry, were included on the America?•?s Best Health Plans List for 2005. A total of eighteen TeleVox customers were among the top 25 ranked health plans in the nation according to the list, which is presented by U.S. News & World Report and the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA).

NCQA publishes an annual State of Health Care Quality report, which examines health plan performance trends, tracks variations in care patterns and recognizes top-performing plans. The Best Health Plans list is created with data from this report and published by U.S. News & World Report to more than 10 million people nationwide. More than 500 health plans submitted clinical and member satisfaction data to NCQA for evaluation. The assessment criteria for plans include access to care, prevention, treatment, member satisfaction and NCQA accreditation.

The report evaluates health plans in the Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid lines of business and assigns rankings for each of these categories. Seven of TeleVox?•?s customers were among the top 25 Commercial plans, five customers were among the top 25 Medicare plans and 10 were among the top 25 Medicaid plans, including the number one Medicaid-based plan in the country.
