The agreement will increase the service and functionality of the PDS Medical practice management system by improving doctor-to-patient communication through automated appointment reminders provided by TeleVox. PDS will exclusively offer the TeleVox HouseCallsâ„¢ appointment reminder system to PDS Medical users.

HouseCalls and LabCallsâ„¢ from TeleVox automate time-consuming but necessary tasks common to all practices. HouseCalls reminds patients of their appointments automatically, saving valuable staff time and decreasing the occurrence of missed appointments.

LabCalls streamlines the process of retrieving patient lab test results. LabCalls enables patients to retrieve their own lab test results by phone or online using a secure PIN. LabCalls is accessible via telephone or Web, provides security and confidentiality and is HIPAA compliant. All activity is archived, providing a record of which patients retrieved their results. The added functionality will enable PDS Medical users to operate more efficiently and keep patient-centric communications a priority.
