Combined offering to improve patient communication through Internet technologies
Mobile, AL, July 14, 2004 - TeleVox Software, Inc., a leading developer of software and services for the orthodontic industry, and IMS Specialty Services, an experienced provider of a comprehensive orthodontic practice management system, have entered into an exclusive business agreement.
The agreement will enable IMS customers to access and manage important patient data over the Internet. IMS will immediately offer TeleVox T.LINK, which provides secure, web-based communications for doctors, staff, patients and referring doctors, to its customers.
IMS customers will benefit by having the ability to provide patients and staff with access to account information at all times via T.LINK, a HIPAA-compliant, online interface. Staff will be able to automate e-mail appointment, dental hygiene and overdue billing reminders, greatly reducing administrative workloads. Staff will also be able to customize a variety of calendar tools. Doctors will be able to send and receive online referrals, share case images, collaborate with other healthcare professionals through a web-based message board, and utilize after-hours call management. Patients will be able to access appointment information, view account balances and make secure payments online.
