HouseCalls ASP reaches historic milestone

Mobile, AL January 31, 2004 – TeleVox Software, Inc. announced the completion of over 1.5 million completed transactions from their HouseCallsTM ASP data center for the month of January. This state-of-the-art data center has the capacity to deliver over 50,000 telephonic messages per hour. As the demand for hosted applications increases in the healthcare industry, TeleVox remains the largest provider of doctor-to-patient communications for the healthcare industry.

HouseCalls ASP was launched in October of 2000, currently servicing over 700 hospitals, multi-specialty groups, dental and medical practices, and continues to be the fastest growing segment within the TeleVox suite of communication offerings. With HouseCalls ASP, TeleVox expects to gain additional market share through strategic alliances with practice management companies around the country.

TeleVox hosted applications include personalized appointment reminders, schedule change notifications, patient test results inquiry, patient satisfaction surveys and website design. TeleVox services are marketed under the product brands HouseCalls and LabCalls“. HouseCalls and LabCalls enable healthcare providers to automate contact with patients via phone, internet, fax, and e-mail. The advantages of hosted solutions include reduced staff time, minimized appointment failures, and cost savings on direct mail and other means of patient communications.

“We are extremely excited with the success of our HouseCalls hosted services product” said Neil Armentrout, President and CEO of TeleVox. “The infrastructure capacity we have established and continue to improve on is essential for the future of our business and our customers.”
